Warcraft Quitting PowerPC Macs
If you have a WoW addiction and a PowerPC Macintosh computer, then Blizzard has good news: they're curing your addiction! By removing support for your computer.
According to Blizzard, a patch due to hit soon before the Cataclysm expansion goes live will remove support for PowerPC Macs. After that, if you try to run World of Warcraft, you will receive a message reading that "the hardware is no longer supported, and the game will not run."
So there. You can find out if your Mac is a PowerPC Mac by clicking the Apple icon in the upper left corner and choosing "About This Mac." If the processor says PowerPC, then you either need to find a new addiction, or a new computer.
