DJ Hero Spins Again in October
Most heroes experience a rise and fall. Not DJ Hero - its first outing was all fall. Will DJ Hero 2 represent a rise, or at least a bounce? We'll find out on October 19.
While that's the date for the game in general, there will actually be three different skus released on the 19th - the "Party in a box" will feature two turntables and a copy of the game for $150. You'll also be able to get just one turntable and the game for $100, and just the game for $60.
I have a feeling that very few people will buy this. But at least now you know the date you'll start not buying it. In case you couldn't tell when that was.

Three reasons it won't be:

3) Rock Band 3

This all runs under the assumption that you're still buying turntables, and possibly at the original game's $120 price tag. Even if the first was true, the second most certainly isn't.
DJ Hero 2 is going to be a $60 purchase for a TON of people. And for those that aren't, they'll be able to get started for significantly less than they did last year.

Additionally, the turntable controllers are now cheaper, and the added mic support gives the game a much-needed boost in support for parties. As far as I'm concerned, this game should be at least as successful as the first.
