Plants vs. Zombies Shambling onto Xbox Live
Popcap Games confirmed today that their zombie smashing hit, Plants vs. Zombies, will arrive on Xbox Live this September.
I think this story is noteworthy because it's so backwards. When the iPhone first came out, we'd excitedly announce that some game everyone had played to death in the past was being resurrected for play on Apple's exciting new platform.
Now we're announcing that a game everyone played to death on Apple's exciting new platform is finally making its way to consoles. This new version will cost $15 (5 times more than the iPhone version), and bring with it two new multiplayer modes.
This story is the opposite of interesting, which we suppose makes it great news for Apple, and bad news for Microsoft.

Yeah, $15 is kind of a lot. That being said, the iPhone version doesn't have everything that the PC (and presumably 360) version does, but that's according to my wife who has put 100+ hours into the game on both platforms.
