Sony Collecting Collections

By Joe Dodson, 6/28/2010 3:23 PM

After the success of The God of War Collection, Sony discovered that remaking their classics in HD made a lot of sense, and by sense, we mean money. Expect to see more Collections on the PS3's horizon.

On one hand, it's easy to feel sarcrastic about this tactic, since the PS3 never really escaped the PS2's shadow. These collections reinforce that, and make the PS3 seem like a PS2 cover band.

On the other hand, who doesn't think the upcoming Sly Cooper Collection is a great idea? I loved those games, and I'd be happy to be able to play them again in HD. I'd also like a retouched version of the original Katamari Damacy, and most of all, I'd like Ico and Shadow of the Colossus to be remade.

What PS2 games would you like to see in a future collection for the PS3?
