The Spirit Engine 2
The Spirit Engine 2 is a free action-RPG that has you taking on enemies in a story that's a lot more involved than you might expect from a free game.
The graphics may be simplistic, but the action is solid and actually quite fun. With a party system, lots of RPG numbers to crunch through, and a hybrid real-time combat system, you won't find many other free games with RPG depth like this.
