Gears of War 3 Rumored for April 2011
Distant buzzings warn that more chainsaw wielding, curb stomping action could be in store for gamers in April 2011 - the rumored release of Gears of War 3.
According to a "trusted US publishing source," Edge Online. says Gears of War 3 is slated for "early April 2011," and will continue the tale told in the first two games. Edge then goes on to speculate that the game has been pushed out of the holiday season to make room for Halo: Reach and Project Natal.
We wish we could shoot some holes in that, because we'd love to shoot some holes in some Locust before next April, but alas, those saws in the distance are still mighty distant. We haven't even gotten our first confirmed piece of media yet, though Edge claims that will come in the form of a teaser on April 8.
