'Monaco' Takes Indie Game Grand Prize

Monaco, a sneaky four player game inspired by heist films, swiped the prestigious grand prize at the Independent Game Festival Awards. Previous winners include Braid, Castle Crashers and World of Goo.

By winning the Seumas McNally Grand Prize, developer Pocketwatch Games also earns a $22,500 check, not to mention some awesome press for a game that should hit DLC services soon. Pocketwatch Games was founded by Andy Schatz, who simply got fed up with working for large publishers and started his own business.

Sounds like an interesting game, what is the gameplay like? Sounds a bit like GTA a bit as well. Also nice to see Newerth got an award, S2Games is always great about eventually releasing their games for free such as Savage 1 and 2. Here is the page for any other fantasy geeks like me :D hehe.
