Shilling, McFarlane, and Saltvatore - Oh My
EA Partners today announced a partnership with Curt Shilling's 38 Studios to publish a new RPG that will also involve Todd McFarlane and R.A. Salvatore.
Little is known about "Project Mercury" aside from the fact that it features the illustrious talents of McFarlane (Art Director) and Salvatore (the Executive Creator of Worlds, according to Gamespot). After all, they founded 38 Studios alongside Curt Shilling.
Salvatore and McFarlane will work with Big Huge Games, which is developing Project Mercury. If you recall, Big Huge Games was purchased outright from THQ last year. So even though we know almost nothing about this upcoming title, we know it's under construction by an airtight crew of software developers, it will have great art, and it will be tied together by an epic narrative.
That's quite a pitch.
