I Am Alive, But Not Remotely Finished
By Joe Dodson, 1/19/2010 8:54 PMUbisoft's survivor action game, I Am Alive, won't be emerging from the woods any time soon. The game is undergoing a complete engine overhaul, and shouldn't be expected until after April 2011.
I Am Alive is a post-apocalyptic game of survival that was supposed to arrive in 2009. But after development of the title was transferred from Darkworks to Ubisoft Shanghai, it was decided to build the game around the Splinter Cell Engine. We like to think the original was built out of an old Pepsi can, a car antenna, and elk sinew.
We'll let you know when we find further signs of life.
