Description

WindSlayer is a side-scrolling massively multiplayer online role-playing game in which you’ll embark on a hero’s journey through beautiful Beuritania to become a great adventurer.

WindSlayer not only offers the classic role-playing experiences-defeating monsters and bosses to gain experience and treasure-but also exciting 1 on 1 fight stages where players can compete against each other in various maps of the vast continent, using abilities that include special movements to evade attacks or position yourself for a crushing offense, swordplay skills, and explosive magic. WindSlayer also provides many unique gaming elements including a Character Customization system in which players can create and upgrade unique equipment that is unavailable in NPC shops by collecting specific materials.

WindSlayer introduces blazing fast, 2D side-scrolling action in a combat system that rewards precise control and timing to the massively multiplayer online role-playing experience. The game’s visual style harkens back to nostalgic fairy tales with its cute, anime style sprite-based characters and gorgeous Fantasy backgrounds.

Players are not limited to leveling up to strengthen their characters in WindSlayer: they can upgrade their weapons by gaining weapon experience points in 1 on 1 fights. This feature encourages players to battle each other in 1 on 1 combat by rewarding them with weapon experience that will also add extra power to their weapons in role-playing mode.

New gamers will become quickly familiarized with the simple game controls, and the wide variety of equipment entices them to continue fighting in Beuritania so that they can fully customize their characters to their liking.

The Outspark service of Wind Slayer closed on August 10, 2011.
