Description

Featuring art by comic book artist Joe Madureira (X-Men) Darksiders: Wrath of War lets the player take the character of War, one of the legendary four horsemen of the apocalypse. The game is set in a future world left ravaged by disaster and overrun with demons. The game will take advantage of the futuristic setting and mythical characters by utilizing a mixture of both modern weapons and those of legend.

The plot is one of redemption and revenge as War, who was sent to bring about the end of earth, is stripped of his abilities and left defenseless on the new post-apocalyptic planet. With only his trusted horse, Ruin, by his side War will attempt to destroy the evil powers who were once his masters.
