About the Game: The point of Handball Challenge is not only to place the ball in the opposing goal. We want to give you an understanding of the individual leagues, the clubs, the players, different game systems and the different plays, so you can get involved with the sport of handball. Individual class, the speed of reaction and tactical understanding are required.
Neutron Games' notes on Trainingcamp:
"Before becoming a huge handball star you need to learn how to catch. That's been our motto since the start of the development phase some months ago. With Handball Challenge Trainingcamp we offer you a small appetizer prior to the release of the full-price title next year. Mini-games like 1-on-1, penalty shoot-out and fast break will wait for you. The mini-games and new features will be available as a free download from our website every once in a while. We suggest you to activate the automatic update-function during the installation of the game. A credit points-system is included into the mini-game series. So if you like you can get new clothes in our shop and gain experience points, which you can use to compare your performance with those of your friends.
The first mini-game - fast break - will be presented by left wing Konrad Wilczynski (Füchse Berlin), who explains you how to do the exercise. In a certain amount of time you need to score as often as possible. In order to do so you have several shooting options. Once you know the trick you can face keeper Mario Kelentric, who won the world championship with Croatia in 2003, and usually saves the ball for MT Melsungen in the TOYOTA Handball-Bundesliga."

"Finally the time has come and we can offer you "Handball Challenge Training Camp Vol. 1" as a free download. We hope that the waiting has been worth is. Now you can play the mini-games "fast break", "hotspot shootout" and "1-vs-1" at home on your computer. As announced Champions League-winner Dominik Klein (THW Kiel) and Patrick Groetzki from the Rhein-Neckar-Löwen will be a part of the games. In short vidoes they will introduce you to the new mini-games and afterwards you can try to show them your skills one on one. Each mini-game includes two levels of difficulty. For a certain amount of goals you can earn medals and credits, which allow you to buy new items in the shop. Credits are also available for a couple of Euros, in case you don't have enough time to free them up with your performances. We also included world rankings into Training Camp Vol. 1, so you can compare yourself to other users around the globe. So let's start with collecting experience points - the more you play, the better you will become and the higher you will climb in the online highscore-list. The mini-game series will be updated regularly via our updated system, so you will see new features any now and then. You can find more game info clicking the link below. "The new game also offers an online-system. To collect achievements such as medals, credits or experience points you need to create an online profile. As soon as you unlocked mini-games you can also play them in the offline-mode, but then you won't get any experience points or credits. In case you didn't win enough credits with your performances from now on you can also buy credits in the shop. During the course of the mini-game series we will add a lot of new features like a new gym, different shots and more videos. Release notes update 2.1 for HC Training Camp Vol. 1
Bugfixes:
* Special characters do not cause a crash when starting the game any more
* Problem with failed registration solved

Update-Informationen
You have three options to install the update on your system:
* The easiest option is to download the update from within the game. An update button will appear right on the bottom of the menu. Currently you have to be registered online to do so. After the update this option is available for everybody, also non-registered users.
* We also put Vol. 1 including update 2.1 online as a complete version. In case you didn’t register yet or for any other reason that doesn’t allow you to update from within the game you can also download the new version with all improvements and changes. Please uninstall the first version before. All registered profiles and achievements won’t be lost during the process.
* The third and also very simple option is to start the update from within the Windows game folder. You just have to click on the folder "updater" in your game folder (default name: HC Training Camp) and then double click on the file "Updater".

Handball Challenge Trainingcamp can be played with keyboard and controller. To enjoy the game even more we suggest to use a gamepad.

XInput Gamepads (i.e. Xbox360 Controller)
DirectInput Gamepads (various producers)
PS3-Gamepads don't work with Handball Challenge Trainingcamp.
Important notes
* The installation will require about 500 MB space on your hard disk.
* Due to the large number of different configurations on the market, compability with laptop systems cannot be guaranteed, because graphics card mostly are not optimized for computer games.
* In some cases you might make sure that your firewall allows to use the update-tool from CatenaLogic.
