If you only have Reign of Chaos installed, you will only need to download and run the Reign of Chaos Patch. If you have the Frozen Throne expansion pack installed as well, you will only need this Frozen Throne patch.

If your game is already patched to version 1.24, you will only have to install the upgrade patch version 1.24e. You can verify what version your game is by starting it up and looking at the bottom right hand corner. If you recently installed/reinstalled the game or have not patched the game in some time, you will want to download and install this full 1.24e Universal Patch.

Changes:
- Fixed an exploit rendering buildings non-interactable ("tower hack").
- Fixed an exploit allowing a player to bypass a summon ability's cooldown ("summon/cooldown hack").
- Fixed a client crash related to workers failing to build in an unintended way ("new crash hack").
- Fixed an exploit allowing the Blood Mages's Phoenix to be resurrected instantly ("phoenix hack").
- Fixed a bug allowing players to select an invalid matchmaking race resulting in all the player's units and buildings becoming sheep ("sheep hack").

*Note for Macintosh users: This patch file version is a .zip file which you will need to extract in order to install. Most Macintosh Operating Systems will automatically extract the patch file. For any player who it does not automaticaly extract it for; you can download a program, such as StuffIt Expander 12.0.1, which will extract the file for you.
