Instructions:
Extract the installer to whatever folder you wish and simply run the .exe. The mod will install to the SourceMods directory. The game should appear in your MyGames list on Steam. You may need to restart Steam for it to show up. Enjoy!
Note: You MUST have an Orangebox game installed for this to work. Halflife 2 Episode 2 works best (this is the AppID referenced in the gameinfo.txt). If you don't have HL2EP2 you'll have to change to AppID in the gameinfo.txt file to another orangebox game. I've only tested Portal (appid 400). Not sure if the others work.
Windows Vista may give you an unknown publisher warning when you run the install.
Developer Notes:
Dino D-Day is an exciting new First Person Shooter from Digital Ranch Interactive. You’ll play as Sgt. Jack Hardgrave, a renowned paleontologist who thought he put his career on hold to go to war…then Hitler resurrected dinosaurs and unleashed them on the Allies in 1942. When the Fuhrer’s monster army saw battle for the first time in North Africa Hardgrave was on the front lines – nearly getting eaten alive by beasts he spent his life studying. This is an HL2:OB mod that has served as a prototype for a commercial release of Dino D-Day slated for 2010. We look forward to community input on this early version of Dino D-Day as we continue crafting the game over the next several months.
