Here's the cumulative v1.79 update for the U.S. retail edition of

This patch will upgrade your Space Empires V version 1.00 (US retail), version 1.08 (US retail), version 1.13 (US retail), version 1.17 (US retail), version 1.20 (US retail), version 1.25 (US retail), version 1.33 (US retail), version 1.35 (US retail), version 1.44 (US Retail), version 1.58 (US Retail), version 1.63 (US Retail), version 1.66 (US Retail), version 1.71 (US Retail), version 1.74 (US Retail), or version 1.77 (US Retail) to the new version 1.79.
*** This patch includes all previous patches ***. For example, if you have version 1.00, then you only need to download and install this patch.
Please note: This patch is only for the US version of Space Empires V. This patch will NOT work on the European version (which has English, French, German, Spanish, and Italian versions in it) of SE5 distributed by Empire Interactive. Customers with the European version should check the
Empire Interactive website for their patch.
Also note: This patch is only for the retail version of Space Empires V. This patch will NOT work on the SE5 distributed by Direct2Drive. Customers with the Direct2Drive should check the Direct2Drive website for their patch.
This patch will NOT work on the Steam version of SE5. The Steam version of SE5 will be updated automatically by Steam itself.
This patch will NOT work on the demo version of Space Empires V.

Instructions
Download the executable file (be sure that you do NOT place this file in the SE5 directory). Once downloaded, run the program by double-clicking on it. The install program will automatically find and patch your installed Space Empires V.
